Sins of our Fathers

...Though there was war
They still had coats of fur
Slavery to them became a tour
Lived their lives in total iniquity
And ended it in obscurity
Now we suffer less equity

...None lived enough to tell the story
They all left this world in a hurry
About the 'how' n 'why we were left to worry
Everyone desired for the truth
Why so much tribulation without soothe
We were soon to realize it was all from the root.

...They went through so much torture
Causing us a great rupture
Affecting the very present future
For the answers we seek we were not bold
It wasn't long the consequence unfold
Not such a beauty to behold

...Life's were wasted for victory
It became such a misery
Cuz it wasn't recorded in history
Several generations gone by
Yet our lips are quickened to sigh
All we do is ask the reason why

...The blood of the innocent
Was shed for several continent
And wasn't such a compliment
Now the crying of the saints are loud
Coming violently from the ground
Who will save us from this rebound?

With different levels of anxiety
We've lost our identity
Now we suffer so much illegality

To be continued......
