Times of Rain

....Heal my heart oh God of every pain

Bring me back Lord the times of rain
 Please make me whole again

That you may be God and reign

....Give me a new song

And teach me my wrong

Let your word be true

As you work me through

....When my heart is sinking cold

Give me strength again to be bold

Paint my world in colors of Gold

And dry my tears even in the days of old

....May I arise and see the light

Help me to know no more night

When you bring me to a place of rest

Only then I’ll come out as best

.... May my valleys be filled with water

As I gently utter the words at the altar

Open my eyes to know you better

 Lord I need you now not later

 Glory! strangers now build my wall

A Prayer for Mercy

Its yet a new day
And now its hard to pray
Lord i know I've gone astray
The wages of sin i cannot pay
In your presence please let me stay
So i can learn to do things your way
Obeying every word that you say
Not regarding anything, come what may
Then my sun will shine its ray
And no longer will i betray
Peace would then be mine when i lay

In YOU Lord may i be steadfast
So to myself i don't look like a cast
Forgive me the iniquities of my past
And in YOUR word may i become vast
So when the enemies come with a blast
I will no longer be the last

Lord i know you judge uprightly
By YOUR mercy forsake me not utterly
Teach me thy statutes continually
And turn me away from beholding vanity
With YOU let me have a natural affinity
So ill be with YOU in eternity

Help me not to choose the world's concept
By learning to imbibe your precepts
Even when am treated with utter contempt
Let your love be a shield
For me in life's battle-field
Cos in you alone my victory is sealed.
